HIP Photo Contest

HIP organizes a Photo Contest among HIP staff.
Team of two people including have to take a picture or write a story about one of HIP 2010 Achievemnts, that could include:
- A nice team of welcoming hostesses,
- Happy ending to bad illnesses,
- New partnerships with hospitals,
- New members, etc...

Never forget to be very clear about what is covered and exclusions...

At Thaipore, today, more workers came to register with HIP...

HIP team always take the time to explain clearly what the insurance covers and not covers, how long they have to commit and how they will be deducted from their salary...

New Poster Step-By-Step

From today, HIP has a new poster to ensure that it's clear for the members how to get access to HIP health care service for free...

To be shown in all the partner factories and health facilities...

Yesterday night, Nget Vy, from Bright SKY factory, called me on the way to Charmkarmorn Hospital... She was very excited because she was going to deliver a first baby...

At 5 AM in the morning, I received a call, from her husband that time, just to tell me... "it's a BOY!"...

The second round of registration took place at Suntex, Bright Sky and Bloomtime at the end of September!

 1. A future member is taken a picture for its HIP card

NSSF Consultative Workshop - Health Care sub-decree and prakas

On August 6th, 2010, HIP participated to the 6th consultative workshop organized by NSSF (National Social Security Fund) to discuss on the future sub-decree and prakas (regulations) for the impelementation of the health component of the Cambodian Social Security.
This half day workshop focused on reviewing the last version of the sub-decree and the main regulations, i.e.:
- Benefit Package,
- Contribution Rate,
- Provider payment mechanism.

Once finalized the sub-decree will be submitted to the Cambodian Council of Ministers.

Unions and Workers' Representatives joined HIP fourth Steering Committee!

On June 15th, 2010, at GMAC office, Workers' unions and representatives joined HIP fourth steering committee along with representatives of the Garment Manufacturer's Association of Cambodia (GMAC), the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Finance, National Social Security Fund (NSSF), French Cooperation Agency (Afd) and the French NGO, GRET.
